The Brazilian basketball website Lakersbrasil.com has been acquired by the sports and gaming media group NorthStar Network.
The website, which debuted in 2006, isa popular NBA team news portal in Brazil and keeps LA Lakers supporters informed of every important detail, including news, features and statistics relating to the team.
A 2021 Google Sports Study found that Gabigol (Gabriel Barbosa), the star player for the Brazilian football team Flamengo, and Lakers superstar LeBron James were both equally popular on Google searches in the country.

Meanwhile, the Ontario-based sportsbook and online casino ended the reverse acquisition of Baden Resources and the delisting of the company’s common shares from the Canadian Stock Exchange in March.
